Radio listenership averages 4 hours a day: report

National radio currently has a 46 per cent share of all minutes while local/regional radio holds the majority share position with 54 per cent.

Irish adults tune into radio for an average of four hours a day, according to the latest radio listenership report.

The report for the year to the end of March shows that 84 per cent of Irish adults listen daily to radio.
