Radio Kerry in Shannonside deal

Radio Kerry is set to buy Shannonside 104FM in a deal valuing the company at between €6 million and €8 million, The Sunday Business Post has learned.

The station is owned by Midland Radio Group, whose main shareholder is pig producer, entrepreneur and leading local Fine Gael member Padraig ‘Buddy' Kiernan.

Other shareholders include Tom Clarke and Shannonside chief executive Richard Devlin, who has an estimated 10 per cent stake.
