Rachel killing suspect could be arrested on new evidence

GardaõÂ may arrest the chief suspect in the murder of Dublin woman Rachel O'Reilly for the second time on the basis of new evidence, according to detectives.

The evidence is based on a statement supplied by a 35year-old man who was arrested and released without charge two weeks ago. The statement is believed to cast doubt on the alibi of the chief suspect. Detectives revealed that no evidence was gleaned from a note retrieved from the coffin of the 30-year-old mother of two who was found murdered at her home last year.
