RaboDirect targets 40s-plus market for the coming year

Having secured its reputation with young, investors, online bank RaboDirect is moving its focus to the middle market

Since entering the Irish market in May 2005, RaboDirect has grown steadily and now, three and a half years on, has more than 60,000 customers. But as Ireland’s first internet-only bank approaches its fourth birthday, it has plans to grow even further.

The online bank has a new senior management team at its helm and intends to introduce a range of new products and services this year in a bid to grow its customer base.
