Ireland could become a “renewable electricity exporter of scale”, according to a statement from the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Pat Rabbitte.

He will attend talks in London tomorrow with his British counterpart Charles Hendry to discuss the potential for trade between the two countries in renewable electricity.
