Quinn’s Anglo losses as high as €2 billion By Richard Curran

The total losses incurred by entrepreneur Sean Quinn and his family in the Anglo Irish Bank debacle were substantially more than €1 billion and are understood to have been close to €2 billion, according to market sources.

The total losses incurred by entrepreneur Sean Quinn and his family in the Anglo Irish Bank debacle were substantially more than €1 billion and are understood to have been close to €2 billion, according to market sources. However, only less than €1 billion of the losses have been borne by the Quinn Group with the remainder residing in other personal family interests that are completely separate to the main Quinn business.
