Quinn family to challenge IBRC Act

The family of the bankrupt businessman Sean Quinn are poised to mount a constitutional challenge to the liquidation of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC), claiming that the auction of the bank's assets is affecting their rights.

The family of the bankrupt businessman Sean Quinn are poised to mount a constitutional challenge to the liquidation of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC), claiming that the auction of the bank's assets is affecting their rights.

The family intend to challenge aspects of the IBRC Act, the legislation used to liquidate the bank and oversee its dismantling. The case will be taken in the coming weeks, several sources confirmed this weekend.
