Sean Quinn senior faces a major court hearing on Friday when IBRC will make representations to the court regarding his level of compliance with orders placed on him, writes Richard Curran.

Contempt of court is a very grey area as Sean Quinn and his family are finding out.

It isn’t that difficult for a judge to decide that someone was in contempt of court or not, as Justice Elizabeth Dunne decided in the case of Sean Quinn junior, Sean Quinn senior and Peter Darragh Quinn, during the summer. The Supreme Court has also rejected Sean Quinn’s junior’s appeal regarding his contempt....
