Quarter of public sector workers are paying PRSI at a lower rate

The Department of Public Expenditure has estimated that about a quarter of all public sector workers pay less than 1 per cent in PRSI.

The Department of Public Expenditure has estimated that about a quarter of all public sector workers pay less than 1 per cent in PRSI, while the rest of the public sector and private sector workers pay a rate of 4 per cent.
