Qualcomm pays €14.7m for Xiam

US mobile technology specialist Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS) has paid US$23 million (€14.7m) to acquire Dublin firm Xiam Technologies.

US mobile technology specialist Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS) has paid US$23 million (€14.7m) to acquire Dublin firm Xiam Technologies.

Xiam sells solutions to mobile operators to assess the viability and success rate of data services offered to customers.

Its real-time analytics are used by clients, including Orange UK and Vodafone Ireland, to leverage knowledge about customers, traffic and products to aid promotional activities.
