Publican Kevin Fitzsimons and the Swiss Partnership have been refused permission to redevelop The Swiss Cottage pub in Santry in Dublin 9.

The consortium had been planning to develop a building of up to 20 storeys on the 1.5 acre site, which was acquired in 2006 from Kevin Molloy of the Molloy Group for more than €8 million.
