Pub group turns E160k loss into E800k profit
The Dublin pub group behind the Odeon, Dakota and 4 Dame Lane bars has retained profits of over €800,000 - a turnaround on losses of €160,000 the previous year, according to its most recent accounts.
According to the 2004 accounts filed for Bolway Investments, the company behind the bars, the group has managed to return to the black having incurred losses in 2003. The group is owned by businessmen Paul Keaveny and Derek Phillips.
The f igures show that amounts owing to creditors increased from€6,424 in 2003 to €111,470 last year, after the group took out a bank overdraft totalling €74,212, according to accounts just filed in the Companies Registration Office.The group...
