Ruairi Ó Bradaigh has a point. He is President of Republican Sinn Féin.

He was President of Provisional Sinn Féin until he was ousted by Gerry Adams in the early 1980s.He left Provisional Sinn Féin and formed Republican Sinn Féin in 1986 when Gerry Adams steered through at the party Ard Fheis a motion abandoning abstentionism in the South. This allowed Sinn Féin members elected to the Dáil to take their seats....
