Provisional liquidator appointed to JJB Sports in Ireland

Kieran Wallace of KPMG has been appointed this afternoon as provisional liquidator to the Irish business division of JJB Sports, the British sports goods retailer which went into administration in Britain this morning.

The Irish business division of JJB Sports comprises of four retail stores and two gyms based in Dundalk, Limerick, Blanchardstown and Liffey Valley. The business employs 102 people.
