Providence starts 2D surveying at Newgrange license

Irish oil and gas exploration company Providence Resources has announced that 2D seismic surveying operations have commenced off the west coast of Ireland at the company’s Newgrange site.

Irish oil and gas exploration company Providence Resources has announced that 2D seismic surveying operations have commenced off the west coast of Ireland at the company’s Newgrange site.

The Newgrange prospect area lies in 1,000 metre-deep water in the Goban Spur Basin and is located 260 kilometres off the south west coast.

Providence is the operator of the license with its partner Sosina Exploration.
