Providence: drilling starts at Dunquin prospect

Providence Resources said today that drilling had begun at the Dunquin exploration prospect off the west coast of Ireland.

Providence Resources said today that drilling had begun at the Dunquin exploration prospect off the west coast of Ireland.

The oil and gas exploration company said the drilling was expected to take several months to complete.

ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Ireland operates this well on behalf of its partners, Eni Ireland (27.5% interest), Repsol Exploracion (25% interest), Providence Resources (16.0% interest) and Sosina Exploration (4.0% interest).
