Protest leads to auction being cancelled
An auction of 40 properties was cancelled last Thursday after protestors disrupted proceedings, writes Donal Buckley.
TD Mattie McGrath was among the protestors at the Ganly Walters auction in Clondalkin. The management of the hotel cancelled the event for health and safety reasons and allegations of assaults on some of the auctioneering staff were reported to the Garda.
