In one of the largest business failures in the Derry-Donegal area in recent years, a property developer who was worth €19 million four years ago is now facing bankruptcy.
Dessie McGilloway, 40,who was one of the largest developers in north Donegal in the late 1990s, said he now had no significant assets and expected to be made bankrupt this year. Four years ago, he employed about 350 people.
He is now working as a house painter.
