An Irish consortium that includes Irish lawyers, doctors and two journalists has closed a €50million deal for a block of apartments in Shanghai, China.

The handover of the 400 apartments in Century Park took place last Thursday. Accountant Donall Curtin of Byrne Curtin Kelly told The Sunday Business Post: ‘‘T he international trade group SIIC Shanghai developed the project and built it, and we financed it entirely in Ireland.
