The Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC), the former Anglo Irish Bank, is fighting a bid by a US vulture fund to force disclosure of confidential documents relating to the promissory note deal and the liquidation process of the stricken bank.

Funds controlled by billionaire investor Paul Singer, Burlington Alpha and Beta, are seeking the documents as part of their opposition to banks bid to secure bankruptcy protection in the US.
