Profits fall at Norton firm

Profits at So Television, the production company controlled by Cork television personality Graham Norton, slumped last year after its turnover fell by 64 per cent to stg£5.2 million (€7.5million).

The London-based company made a pre-tax profit of stg£182,000 for the year ending July 31, 2005, down from more than £1.3 million the previous year, according to accounts just lodged in Britain.

Norton set up the company six years ago with business partner Graham Stuart. The company has produced a host of television shows for British and American channels.
