Profits boost for Donnybrook Fair

Donnybrook Fair, the upmarket Dublin supermarket and restaurant business, made an operating profit of €760,000 last year as it continued to expand.

Donnybrook Fair, the upmarket Dublin supermarket and restaurant business, made an operating profit of €760,000 last year as it continued to expand.

Profits at the business, which is owned by Joe and Mary Doyle, were up about 12 per cent in the year to the end of January, according to new accounts.

Turnover at Donnybrook Fair is not disclosed, but the firm’s gross profit rose to €6.4 million last year from €5.6 million the previous year....
