Profits at Dwyer Nolan quadruple to €26.2m

Pre-tax profits at one of the country's largest housebuilders, Dwyer Nolan Developments, almost quadrupled to €26.2 million in the year to May 31, 2005, because of major land and house sales.

Pre-tax profits at one of the country's largest housebuilders, Dwyer Nolan Developments, almost quadrupled to €26.2 million in the year to May 31, 2005, because of major land and house sales.

Turnover at the company, which is owned by Eddie O'Dwyer, rose from €31.2 million to €52.9 million, according to accounts just filed.

After-tax profits of €20.9 million were transferred to the reserves, bringing retained profits to €67.2 million.
