Professional job vacancies up 21% on last year, says Morgan McKinley

The Irish recovery is gathering pace, with professional job vacancies up 21 per cent since last year and the construction industry rebounding, Morgan McKinley says.

The Irish recovery is gathering pace, with professional job vacancies up 21 per cent since last year and the construction industry rebounding, according to Morgan McKinley’s employment monitor for July.

The number of professional job vacancies was up 21 per cent in July 2014 (9,699), compared to July 2013 (7,681).

There was a month-on-month decrease of 3 per cent between June and July, something which is normal for the summer months, the report said.
