More than 250 couples have been civilly married in private venues since new regulations came into force on November 1 last year.

More than 250 couples have been civilly married in private venues since new regulations came into force on November 1 last year.

The most popular venues for ‘‘offsite’’ weddings are hotels in Killarney, Co Kerry, with 85 venues approved for weddings in the southern region of the Health Service Executive.
