Private jet traffic soars for American football clash

Dublin Airport will have one of its busiest days ever for private jet traffic today, as wealthy US sports fans head home from the Emerald Isle Classic American football game.

Dublin Airport will have one of its busiest days ever for private jet traffic today as wealthy US sports fans head home from the Emerald Isle Classic American football game, held yesterday in the Aviva. Around 25 private jets will have passed through the airport this weekend, with an estimated 35,000 Americans in Dublin to watch the clash between the United States Naval Academy and the University of Notre Dame.
