Concerns over the fate of Irish Banking Resolution Corporation (IBRC) loans are running high among business borrowers as private equity funds circle performing loans in the portfolio.

It has been announced that a set of criteria will be established to govern who can buy the debt as the bank is liquidated, but the lack of precise detail has left many customers of IBRC in limbo.
