The High Court has ruled that it is inappropriate to restrain the state from ratifying the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) bill.

Judge Mary Laffoy delivered the ruling in the High Court following a challenge by independent TD Thomas Pringle to the constitutionality of the ESM legislation, Bloomberg News reported.
