Prestige offers €51m in property for pensions

Dublin-based property investment company Prestige Group has linked with Standard Life to offer €51 million worth of property to investors through its Synergy pension scheme.

Dublin-based property investment company Prestige Group has linked with Standard Life to offer €51 million worth of property to investors through its Synergy pension scheme. Synergy allows investors buy residential property in Prestige’s latest developments in Britain through their pension fund, which they say provides significant tax-related benefits to investors.

Paul Coghlan, Prestige chief executive, said people have become frustrated with traditional pensions and want to be in control of their investment.
