The medtech sector has bucked the wider economic trend in recent years, positioning Ireland as one of the top three locations globally for medical device manufacturing.

The industry provides employment for more than 25,000 people and is set to continue growing. Indeed, according to IDA chief executive Barry O'Leary, we can expect to see a number of significant job announcements in the sector in the coming months.
