Precinct Aldersgate is believed to have secured funding from HBOS that would enable the consortium to re-enter the bidding process for Jurys Doyle Hotel Group.

The consortium, which includes a number of Irish businessmen and the London-based billionaire brothers David and Simon Reuben, said in a statement to the stock exchange last Friday night that it continued to seek alternative funding.
