The Irish-owned nursing home operator, Barchester, made a pre-tax profit of Euro 27 million last year, down from a high of Euro 37 million for the previous year.
The company, backed by the horseracing tycoons JP McManus and John Magnier, had revenues of Euro 463 million, an increase of Euro 17 million on the previous year.
