Coinciding with good financial news from Italy, Fiat Ireland is launching the Panda 100 HP, giving some additional sparkle to a very practical car.

The 1.4-litre 100bhp engine propels with some verve, giving a zero to 60 time of just 9.5 seconds. To cope with the extra power, the suspension has been uprated and disc brakes are fitted to all round.

Standard equipment includes air conditioning, alloy wheels and a six-speed manual gearbox.
