PR expects modest rise in business this year
The public relations sector is back in recovery mode, according to Laurie Mannix, the new chairwoman of the Public Relations Consultancy Association, writes Catherine O’Mahony
It has been a tough two years, but the public relations industry is on course for steady recovery.
That’s according to Laurie Mannix, managing director of MKC Communications and new chairwoman of the PRCA.
Mannix said she was confident that demand for PR services was rising in several areas - chiefly in crisis communications, public affairs and social media - and that this would generate a gradual recovery across the industry.
