Portwest, a family-owned sports and workwear retailer from Co Mayo, expects to double its revenues to almost €90 million through a nationwide expansion.

Portwest, a family-owned sports and workwear retailer from Co Mayo, expects to double its revenues to almost €90 million through a nationwide expansion.

Owen Hughes, managing director of Portwest, said that the company would open up to 12 shops and create about 150 jobs by the end of 2012. The firm opened a flagship shop in Dublin city centre yesterday after investing €1 million in renovating premises on Suffolk Street.
