The walls of the €700 million Dublin Port Tunnel are a safety risk to double decker buses and trucks, the Minister for Transport, Martin Cullen, has been informed.
According to former Dublin County Council engineer Cormac Rabbitte, the walls over the footpath which stand only 4.4 metres high contravene the Design Motorway Road Building standard (DMRB).
