A construction company controlled by Joe Burke, chairman of the Dublin Port Company, has run into serious cashflow problems.

J&H Burke & Son Builders, a company which specialises in the refurbishment of pubs, asked the High Court last week to be placed into provisional liquidation due to cashflow difficulties.
