James Doorley has been Chairman of the Consumers’ Association of Ireland since 2007.

He was recently appointed to the National Economic and Social Council and is a member of the European Commission Consumers Consultative Group. He works as assistant director with the National Youth Council of Ireland.

Aged 39, he is originally from Borrisokane, Co Tipperary, but now lives in Ashbourne, Co Meath.
