Cathy Belton was once offered what many Irish actresses would consider the lucky break of a lifetime. She had been acting at the Gate Theatre, in Mark Brokaw’s 2005production of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge. The production was notable for many reasons, not least because her co-star, Christopher Meloni, had a day-job as the lead actor in the renowned and popular American drama Law & Order.
