Mike Adamson and Richard Tierney are hoping to relive the success of their O2 venture by organising a multimillion-euro naming deal for the new Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin, writes Gavin Daly

A year after they sold the naming rights to the former Point Depot for more than €25 million, Mike Adamson and Richard Tierney are hoping to repeat the trick.

The Dublin venue became theO2 last year after the mobile operator agreed a ten-year deal with Adamson, the chief executive of music promoter Live Nation Ireland, and Tierney, the managing director of Ten, a sports and entertainment sponsorship company.
