Playing a Blinder for kids

The two men behind an award-winning ISPCC ad believe digital technology has opened up a whole new world for film-makers, writes Siobhán Brett.

Most people will be aware of the ad for the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) featuring a young boy who explains - between blows from a faceless adult - why he can't wait to grow up.

They may not be aware, however, of the impact it has had internationally.

Blinder, the Dublin-based production company behind it, won bronze at the Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity last week.
