Plans to open new brewery in Enniscorthy

Enniscorthy-based Blackstairs Brewing has plans to open the Wexford town's first brewery since the closure of the Lett's brewery in 1956.

Enniscorthy-based Blackstairs Brewing has plans to open the Wexford town's first brewery since the closure of the Lett's brewery in 1956.

Blackstairs, which brews its beer in Trim, has a location for the brewery and is doing pilot brews in order to gauge the feasibility of the site. The firm aims to open the brewery in the summer of 2015.
