Planning tribunal ordered to reconsider legal fees request

The High Court has instructed the planning tribunal to reconsider a request by the businessman Oliver Barry for €611,000 in fees incurred by him.

The High Court has instructed the planning tribunal to reconsider a request by the businessman Oliver Barry for €611,000 in fees incurred by him as a result of appearing before the Flood/Mahon tribunal.

The move follows a High Court challenge by Barry, the former head of Century Radio, over the tribunal's refusal to grant him his legal costs.
