Planning rules make urban housing harder to develop

High demand for housing in Dublin has developers scrambling for development sites, writes Donal Buckley.

Dublin development site sales will exceed €700 million this year, a sevenfold increase on the €100 million sales in 2013, David Cantwell, a director of Hooke and MacDonald, told the property summit.
