Dublin City Council has granted planning permission to two businessmen to turn four partly-demolished buildings on Parnell Street into a boutique hotel.

Michael Stone and Darren McGrath of the Clontarf-based engineering firm, Designer Group, sought permission for the project earlier this year through Lockett Connections, a company owned by the group.
