Airfield estate fears planned apartment scheme will affect farm’s viability
Dublin’s only publicly accessible urban farm has appealed against planning approval being signalled for Pat Crean’s Marlet to develop 120 apartments at Green Acres, Dundrum, Dublin 14.
Airfield estate, the charitable organisation which runs the adjoining Airfield urban farm, said its viability could be affected by Marlet’s plans. The farm was left in trust by the Overend sisters for public education and it runs programmes for thousands of school children and families. More...
