Brewed by the Carlow Brewing Company, the same people that make O'Hara's, Aldi's own-brand Irish Pale Ale is a welcome surprise and far from a yellow-pack offering.

Given where it is brewed, comparisons will naturally be made to O'Hara's Irish Pale Ale. In simple terms, it's not as good as the O'Hara's version, but it is still a beer with some merit.
