The telecommunications regulator, ComReg, has ordered a company that sells phone calls to businesses to remove misleading information from its advertisements, writes Louise McBride.

Optic Communications, an international phone company with offices in Ireland, Britain, Canada and Australia, was investigated by ComReg earlier this summer, following complaints. The regulator found that Optic had breached the code of practice, which sets out rules and procedures for companies offering carrier pre-selection (CPS) in Ireland.
