Pharmacy owners claim HSE fee cuts will close many of them down, but how are chain stores surviving in the economic storm? Susan Mitchell reports
The €157million acquisition of Unicare by the German firm Gehe in 2001 was one of a number of high-profile sales that propelled some community pharmacists to the ranks of the super-rich.
