Peugeot's 308 takes aim at VW
Peugeot is hoping that its new 308 hatchback will rejuvenate its fortunes, writes Paul Healy.
France's PSA Group, made up of Peugeot and Citroen, is in trouble. It recently cut 6,000 employees from its workforce, shut down a plant just outside Paris and in February announced a record annual loss of €5 billion. The writing is seemingly on the wall for the French stalwarts, but PSA is refusing to go gently into the night.
